A Bird Lovers Paradise

The abundance of unspoiled, protected lands surrounding the Running Y has made the area the most important gathering point for migrating birds along the Pacific Flyway. Huge flocks of swans, geese and ducks cross the sky in spring and fall. Along the Ranch wetlands, you'll witness the greatest concentrations of wintering bald eagles in the contiguous United States and in the meadows, marvel at the sight of white pelicans, herons, egrets and tundra swans.
